Prof. Rui Jorge, Agrarian School of Santar\u00e9m & Sport Sciences School of Rio Maior \u2013 Polytechnic Institute of Santar\u00e9m, Portugal <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prof. Rui Jorge, born in Santar\u00e9m, Portugal in June 1986 and began his professional career as a nutritionist in 2009, working mainly in the clinical and fitness settings. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After graduating in Nutritional Sciences (Egas Moniz Higher Institute of Health Sciences – ISCSEM) and MSc in Clinical Nutrition with the Faculty of Nutrition and Food Sciences of the University of Porto (FCNAUP), he became (in 2010) a professor at the Agrarian School of Santar\u00e9m (ESAS) \u2013 Polytechnic Institute of Santar\u00e9m (https:\/\/siesa.ipsantarem.pt\/esa\/si_main<\/a>) and more recently (in 2020) of the Sport Sciences School of Rio Maior (ESDRM) \u2013 Polytechnic Institute of Santar\u00e9m (www.esdrm.pt<\/a>). In 2019, he obtained a PhD in Clinical Nutrition and have been involved in several research projects in subjects related to clinical nutrition, exercise nutrition, Mediterranean diet, pregnancy and weight management. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prof. Rui Jorge is an integrated member of the Multidisciplinary Research Center of Egas Moniz (CiiEM – https:\/\/ciiem.egasmoniz.edu.pt\/pt-pt.aspx<\/a>) and a collaborator member of the Life Quality Research Center (CIEQV – https:\/\/ciiem.egasmoniz.edu.pt\/pt-pt.aspx<\/a>) and his main publications and projects can be found in ORCID -\u202fhttps:\/\/orcid.org\/0000-0002-5261-2688<\/a>, Ci\u00eanciaVitae – https:\/\/www.cienciavitae.pt\/\/7D1D-0A75-A4B7<\/a> and Research Gate\u202fhttps:\/\/www.researchgate.net\/profile\/Rui-Jorge<\/a> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prof. Rui Jorge is also is also a member of the Portuguese Council of Nutritionists (https:\/\/www.ordemdosnutricionistas.pt<\/a>), of the Portuguese Association of Nutrition (https:\/\/www.apn.org.pt<\/a>), of the Portuguese Society for the Study of Obesity (https:\/\/www.speo-obesidade.pt<\/a>) and of the Portuguese Association for Enteral and Parenteral Nutrition (https:\/\/www.apnep.pt<\/a>). <\/p>\n\n\n
