‘I have a pregnant client. I’m not sure what I can do not to hurt the baby or the mother’ – this is a phrase that often appears in the practice of exercise professionals. Research over the past few years has completely changed the approach to exercise in pregnancy and after childbirth. However, there are still many myths and conflicting opinions, especially in publicly available sources of information. Therefore, instructors and trainers do not really know what they can or cannot offer to pregnant or postpartum exercise participants. This webinar aims to dispel many doubts on this topic.

We have invited world’s best scientists and practitioners in the field of exercise during pregnancy and after childbirth to participate in the discussion. Based on their many years of research, we will convince exercise professionals to update their professional competences. We will highlight the key issues and mistakes made in planning and implementing prenatal and postnatal exercise programmes.

We will also present the latest EuropeActive lifelong learning qualification „Exercise in Pregnancy and Postpartum” and professional training developed within an international NEPPE project ‘New Era of Pre and Postnatal Exercise’, This webinar is aimed in particular at fitness instructors, personal trainers, yoga and Pilates teachers, exercise specialists, physiotherapists, as well as training providers, health professionals and pregnant and postpartum exercisers. We are waiting for you and your questions.
