Prof. Rui Jorge, Agrarian School of Santarém & Sport Sciences School of Rio Maior – Polytechnic Institute of Santarém, Portugal 

Prof. Rui Jorge, born in Santarém, Portugal in June 1986 and began his professional career as a nutritionist in 2009, working mainly in the clinical and fitness settings. 

After graduating in Nutritional Sciences (Egas Moniz Higher Institute of Health Sciences – ISCSEM) and MSc in Clinical Nutrition with the Faculty of Nutrition and Food Sciences of the University of Porto (FCNAUP), he became (in 2010) a professor at the Agrarian School of Santarém (ESAS) – Polytechnic Institute of Santarém (https://siesa.ipsantarem.pt/esa/si_main) and more recently (in 2020) of the Sport Sciences School of Rio Maior (ESDRM) – Polytechnic Institute of Santarém (www.esdrm.pt). In 2019, he obtained a PhD in Clinical Nutrition and have been involved in several research projects in subjects related to clinical nutrition, exercise nutrition, Mediterranean diet, pregnancy and weight management.
